Meal preparation
Prepare your meal just before feeding your baby.
1. Sterilization Always wash your hands before preparing your baby's meal. Sterilize all utensils in an approved sterilizer or by boiling for 10 minutes. Boil fresh water and allow to cool until lukewarm (about 40-45 ° C). Add the right amount of lukewarm water to a sterile bottle.
2. Adding Dust Each measuring tape must be sharp. Use the Caprícare enclosed tape measure. Fill and remove any excess dust with the back of a clean, dry knife. Do not squeeze the powder into the measuring tape. Always add 1 tbsp powder to every 30ml of boiling lukewarm water. Close the bottle and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
3. Temperature Control Check the temperature of the raw milk by dropping a few drops on the inside of your wrist. Milk should be lukewarm.
For health reasons, do not keep the milk left over for later use.
This table is for guidance only. Your baby may need more or less milk than the above, so always consult your pediatrician. Always add one sharp measuring tape (4.3g) to each 30ml of lukewarm water.
