Stratpharma Stratacel Advanced Dressing for Fractional Procedures
What is Stratacel?
Stratacel is an advanced transparent, semi-occlusive wound dressing to be used following fractional rejuvenation procedures. It was developed with a lower viscosity which makes it easier to spread and remove.
Stratacel was designed to adhere gently to existing epidermis making it the ideal post procedure dressing for fractional skin injuries.
How does Stratacel work?
Stratacel provides a moist wound healing environment. Stratacel minimizes water loss while maintaining the oxygen transfer rate.
Epidermal cells are able to move rapidly over the surface of the dermis through exudate which collects at the wound-dressing interface.
Manages secondary tissue damage resulting from dehydration.
Promotes enzymatic autolytic debridement.
Wound exudate, which carries a number of growth factors essential to the healing of wounds, is kept protected in the wound-dressing interface.
Stratacel emulates the epidermal barrier and enhances the healing of wounds. Stratacel minimizes water loss while maintaining the oxygen transfer rate.
The wound is kept in an optimal environment for healing.

How to use Stratacel?
Apply once daily, or twice daily to exposed areas or as advised by your physician.
For best results, Stratacel should maintain continuous contact with the skin (24 hours a day/7 days a week).
Stratacel should be applied immediately post procedure. Carefully follow the post procedure care instructions that were given to you at during your treatment.
Step 1: Prepare your skin
Ensure that the affected skin or superficial wound is clean. Gently pat dry as much excess exudate or wound fluid from the area as possible prior to the gel application.
Step 2: Apply Stratacel
Apply a very thin layer of Stratacel directly on the affected area and allow the gel to dry.
Step 3: Allow the gel to dry
When applied correctly, Stratacel should be dry in 5-6 minutes.
If it takes longer to dry, you have probably applied too much. Gently remove any excess gel with a tissue or paper towel and allow the drying process to continue. Remember: a little amount of gel goes a long way.
Step 4: You are ready to go!
Once dry, Stratacel can be covered with clothes, sunscreen or cosmetics.
Remove from skin
Excess Stratacel on your hands can be easily removed by washing them with liquid soap and warm water. Repeat if necessary.
Remove from clothes
Stratacel may stain clothing if not completely dry. If staining occurs, dry cleaning should be able to remove it without damaging the fabric.
You may keep Stratacel in the refrigerator for a “cooling and soothing effect”.
To reduce the risk of skin reactions, Stratacel should be applied as the first contact layer.
Should your skin feel dry or tight you may reapply Stratacel. If required, additional moisturizers maybe applied on top.
Stratacel is compatible with secondary dressings.
Once dry, Stratacel can be covered with sunscreen and cosmetics.
What is the correct tube size for me?
