DUCRAY, A HISTORY STARTING IN FRANCE
The story of the Ducray brand begins in a hairdresser with a great visionary: Albert Ducray.
Son of a dermatologist, she noticed that the water-soluble powder soaps used for shampoos had alkaline properties that damaged their hair and made them dull.
So he created his own series of shampoos, called "Lik's Savons". These were the first shampoos to solve dermatological problems and to be sold in individual doses.
For that time, it was a great innovation!
Albert Ducray also explored a new distribution channel suited to the medical nature of his products: pharmacies. His acquaintance with Pierre Fabre in 1969 was the decisive step in the expansion and development of the house.
